EARTHLINGS
PIGS & BUTCHERS

Two suites of artworks for Animal Rights

"We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form."
William Ralph Inge

Earthlings

This suite of drawings is a response to the tragic and seemingly hopeless plight of animals used for food, clothing, entertainment and scientific research. The series' title is taken from the documentary film EARTHLINGS . All 18 pictures of the Earthlings series are in the permanent collection of the Nicholas Treadwell Gallery at:
Treadwell’s Art Mill, Oslip, Brugenland, Austria.

Pigs & Butchers

Originally inspired by a song written and recorded by activist musician Fredrik Sälgström aka Vanquish Evil. The images subsequently formed the visual narrative in a music video of his song I SEE YOU.
